the meaning of wonder
I recently attended a workshop about creativity and was tasked to go outside and wonder. I jotted down: "is awe = wonder - curiosity?" and from that philosophical math, I wondered -
Can we boil life like saltwater Evaporating the vapor and discarding the sodium chloride life's science we're all stuck living Chained to gravity; pulling and tugging us closer to Dirt, leeching carbon and oxygen as we wander the mind captures our life thru rods and cones Transforming it into Intellect, Logic, and Reason and simplifying dynamicism to mere math wonder - curiousity = awe longing - hope = despair love - trust = loss Algebraic law dictates order muse be followed; plussing and minusing, and "doing things to both sides" but adding trust to loss doesn't equal love longing and despiar don't know the language of hope and sometimes awe steals our life; our breath lost for a moment Wonder can't be itemized alongside symbols to divide or multiply or follow the laws of nature. Someone once told me: From math comes physics, comes chemistry, comes biology But my math teacher did not ensure anything for me but right angles My nature comes from nature Life, boiled down, souls transcend the laws man has named Governed by the laws of wonder.
